Divina De Campo Stars In Tuesday Night Bingo Sessions
Gala Bingo are making some fabulous changes to their Main Event bingo sessions this February, with the Nifty Fifty session bingo event now hosted by Drag Artiste extraordinaire, Divina De Campo.
Divina is a drag queen and singer, having featured on TV shows such as The Voice and most recently, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. She’s also no stranger to online bingo, having just recently starred in a 5-hour-long ‘Guess or Drag It Out’ promo for Paddy Power Bingo last year.
As the new host of Drag Bingo Live over at Gala, Divina will appear in the Main Event room on screen, chatting to players, playing games and performing one or two musical numbers along the way.

Now that’s out of the way, here’s what I encountered when I took part in the first Drag Queen Bingo Live event at Gala Bingo on Tuesday 2nd February 2021.
Drag Queen Fun & Games
So the event kicked off with Divina appearing on screen around 7:15 pm to say hello to the players and to remind everyone to get their session tickets in before the bingo begins at 7:30 pm. During this time she had a chat to the players about some glam photos that players had sent in via social media. One of the players would be chosen by Divina at the end of the show as the most glamourous photo.
Once the bingo games began, Divina then moved on to the first competition of the evening which was a Music Quiz. There were five song lyrics that she read out, with players having to guess the title of the songs. If they got all five correct they could then work out a secret word based on the first letter of each song.
Unfortunately at this stage I was reminded that to take part you had to have made a deposit within the past 24 hours, which I hadn’t done, so from here on I wasn’t really taking part but just observing. It’s a shame they have this restriction if I’m honest. It really should be you’re eligible so long as you’ve bought tickets to the session, but hey what do I know?
I Wanna Dance With Somebody
After the quiz, Divina did a pre-recorded segment where she sang ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)’ by Whitney Houston. Divina has a surprisingly good singing voice and I later learned that she has quite a few albums you can buy from her website or listen to on Spotify.
Following the musical interlude there was a game of word association played over Skype with one of the randomly chosen Gala players. You can see a bit of this on the video above, with Steph picking up a £10 prize. After that there was some more singing and dancing, another Skype call game and Pictionary.

What Is Session Bingo?
Session Bingo is a daily event they have each evening at Gala Bingo. Unlike the regular bingo rooms where you buy your tickets for each individual game, here you pay a one time price for tickets to every game during the session (approx 13-15 games).
